My name is Tennille Smith
Hi, I’m Tennille Smith, a qualified primary school teacher and the founder of Prep Ready Kids. With over a decade of experience teaching Prep and supporting early learners across Victorian schools, I am passionate about helping children feel confident, capable and excited as they begin their school journey.
Throughout my years in the classroom, I’ve seen firsthand how much children flourish when they are supported with the right mix of play, structure, encouragement and skill-building. Prep Ready Kids was created to bridge the gap between kinder and school, offering small-group sessions that nurture early literacy, numeracy, fine-motor development, social skills and independence — all aligned with the Victorian Curriculum.
As both a teacher and a mum, I understand how important this transition is for families. My goal is to create a welcoming, positive environment where children grow in confidence, build strong foundations, and feel truly ready for their first big year of school.
